Snow in Birmingham!! (January 27-28, 2000)

| 1) The snow started to fall just before midnight on Thursday.... |
4) The next morning, our neighborhood parks had become winter
wonderlands! |

| 2) Within an hour or so, the cars in the parking lot (including
our Saturn!) were covered... |
5) Raya tests out our first makeshift sled, a plastic lid,
with a local doggie friend... |

| 3) It started to come down a little harder around 1 AM.... |
6) Eric gives it a try, headfirst. The lid didn't work so
well...but our second sled of the morning, our "eternally borrowed"
metal UF parking sign worked great! |
